Hello 👋 fellow Pipers and Drummers - in 2026 - is planning traveling to Glasgow for the World Championships to compete at grade 4B - the plan is to meet on Friday 7th August 2026 in Glasgow where we will be based - most of us will stay here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/S1eeZTpe6bSMhjmF7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy) at ‘Red Deer Holiday Village’ near Stepps - the plan is that we will travel on Saturday 8th August to take part in a local competition or street parade. Then on Sunday 9th August we are trying to find another competiton to play at, and then back to Glasgow for ‘Piping Live Week’ culminating in the World Pipe Band Championships 14-15h August 2026 - we will be playing on Saturday 15th. We may well compete in other competitions in Europe but this has yet to be decided - more info will be posted here.

in 2026 we will meet in Red Deer Holiday Park on Friday 8th August 2025 for a practice - all to be confirmed but probably between 2-3pm. We will be competing at Perth on Saturday and another competition on Sunday. Watch these pages for updates.
The World ’s rehearsal is on Friday 15th August between 8-10Hrs (see travel plan below).

We need a minimum of 8 pipers, 3 snare drummers, 2 tenors and a base drummer to compete. While we have a minimum compliment it would be great if anyone else would like to join us. It is an opportunity to take part in the of the most amazing piping event in the annual calendar, meet lots of like-minded people, have fun and learn loads.
